My fourth observation was very much like my third observation. Bistros was pretty busy and each of the three parts of the restaurant had the same atmosphere as last week. I once again visited Bistros on a Friday night. It was loud and had a very good atmosphere in it.
The pool table area was packed full again. Playing were all guys but the majority of them were in what looked like to be there early 30's or late 30's. I really didn't think this was out of the ordinary as there was a Red Wings game on the tv's and it seemed like a time that guys would go out with there friends and maybe have a drink. In the back of the pool table area were two guys that were very loud and energetic. They were there when I arrived and were still there when I left. They had to have played close to ten games of pool in the time period.
The bar area once again was very busy. Both sides of the bar was nearly completely filled with there being about half guys and half girls. Once again all but two people at the bar were smoking. Nobody seemed to be drunk like last time. It seemed like everybody was more focused on watching the tv's in the center of the bar in comparison to drinking. The bartender was very laid back. He would just sit in the center of the bar watching the games across the restaurant when nobody needed him, and when he did have to serve people he seemed very polite to them.
The last area was the dining area. I would say about half the seats were full in this area. Nobody seemed to be watching the televisions around the restaurant as they were all focused on their food. One family drew my attention as soon as I walked in. It was a mom, a dad, and two kids that were probably around 10 years old. The reason they drew my attention was because of the kids. These two kids were glued to one of the televisions that was playing the red wings game. They barely took there eyes off of the tv and barely ate any of their food. Hockey isn't big where I come from, so it just caught my attention that kids that young would already be that big of fans to hockey.

Observation 3
When observing my community this time, I really wanted to focus on how everybody interacted with each other. I observed Bistros on a Friday this time compared to a Thursday before as I was hoping that there would be more people there and there was. As I walked in the first thing I realized was that the place was a lot more busy than the last time I observed. The bar area was nearly full and most of the tables were full.
As I started to look at how everybody was dressed, it seemed like everybody was dressed differently. Some people were in just jeans and t-shirts, some people were in more of a nicer attire, and one person had on sweats and a sweatshirt. For my observing, I focused on the three different areas and observed how people acted in each. The first area I observed was the pool table area. All but one of the pool tables were full and everybody playing was a guy. They varied from what looked like college students all the ways to older men who seemed to just have gotten out of work. Everybody here was very talkative. They all were constantly talking to their partner in the game and seemed to be joking around alot. It was a very good atmosphere to be in as everybody there seemed to be having a good time. One thing that really stood out to me was how many times everybody looked at their cell phones. Nearly everybody looked at there cell phones numerous times and the younger people that were their were sending text messages to others.
The second area I observed was the bar area. There were a lot of people around the bar and pretty much everybody was talking to the person next to them. The majority of the people there were guys, but there were a couple girls there. The biggest that stood out to me when observing this place was how many of them were smoking. All but four people there were smoking. There was a group of guys there, probably in their late 20's that were the loudest of everybody. They seemed to be starting to get a little intoxicated and they were constantly laughing and joking around with the bar tender.
The last area I observed the people in was the dining/eating area. This was more of a relaxed, calmer place compared to the other two. There were two women beside me that were in there late 30's or early 40's that who each had a drink and seemed to just be two friends out to dinner. They were talking nearly the entire time I was there and would occasionally have a small outburst of laughter. There was what looked liked to be a couple or two people that were married sitting across from me. They seemed to be having more of conversations that were more serious than what the surrounding people were. The lady got two phone calls during the time I was there, but she didn't answer either of them. After the second one, I think she put her phone as on vibrate or silent.
Everybody that was there interacted in a way that I believe fits the atmosphere. There are sporting events going on all the tv's and it gives it a laid back atmosphere, and that is how people act here. Nearly everybody was wearing casual clothing and all seemed to be very relaxed, not only with the people that they were there with, but also the workers of Bistros.

Observation
As soon as I walked into Bistros, the first thing that I noticed was how dark it was and how loud it was. As I walked in, it took a good five minutes for me to be seated even though it wasn't that busy. This made me believe that maybe the workers really aren't the best at this time. To the left of the entrance was the pool table area. There were 6 pool tables that lined all the way from the front to the back of the restaurant. Playing pool were 3 groups of people. The first group was two older men who looked like they just came from work. They were playing pool and watching the Cavs game on one of the numerous tv's along the wall. The second and third group of people were two young males who I would say to be in college. They each had a drink and seemed to be enjoying themselves by drinking and playing pool.
I then got to my seat and I noticed something that I wasn't expecting. It seemed like everybody that was seated was pretty much with somebody, but it was either two girls with each other or two guys with each other. I found it kind of odd that a group of girls would go to a sports bar to sit and have a drink and watch games. Right in front of me was a person sitting all by himself. He was very focused on one of the games that was playing, but didn't have anybody with him. Just to the right of him was a guy sitting on a laptop. He seemed to be doing some kind of business on it, but the odd part was, was that he was right beside the bar where there was lots of noise. He was later accompanied by another man where they talked for a good 20 minutes about what seemed like business.
In the bar area, which is in the center of the restaurant was approximately 15 people. All but one of them seemed to be with the person beside them as they were all talking and watching the Detroit Red Wings game that was playing in the middle of the bar area. The one lone person who wasn't with anybody was constantly on the phone. He wasn't just on the phone with one person, he was making numerous calls and receiving numerous calls throughout the night.
The last people that I wanted to observe were the workers of Bistros. The first thing that I noticed was that there were all women as servers. At first I thought that was kind of odd because this was a place of sports, but after I thought about it, it made sense to me. I would say that the majority of the people that show up to this place are men, and I would also say that most men prefer a women to be their waitress. And all the women working were very attractive and young. The one lone male working was a bartender.
