Observation

There was a little bit more activity going on this time at Bistros this time. The dining area seemed to be more busy, the bar area was busy as always and the pool table area was also pretty busy. The dining area had a wide variety of people there. There were a couple of tables of college students, a few families, and a few tables to where it appeared that there was just two or three people there as friends. More attention was being payed to the televisions as there was a Pistons game on. One group really got my attention as soon as I walked in because of their loudness. They were sitting on the other side of the restaurant and I could still here occasional outbursts of laughter. For the first time, I tried to look at the kinds of food that people were getting everybody pretty much got the same things. Either some type of burger or some form of pasta.

The bar area was very lively in comparison to other weeks. Most of the time it just seems like everybody is sitting there content on just having a drink and watching the games, but this week was a little different. There was a good number of guys there that seemed to know each other. They arrived almost the same time that I did and went straight to the bar. They were loud, outgoing, and sometimes obnoxious college students. They would occasionally punch one an other in a joking way and laugh a lot. One women and man seemed to be getting annoyed with this. They seemed to be just having a quiet personal conversation, but they would look up at the group of guys every once in a while and then they would have a look on there face of disgust like they were annoyed.

The last area, the pool table area was busy as always. This was more of a layed back area in comparison to the bar, but people still seemed to be enjoying themselves. All but two of the pool tables were full at one point of my observing. All but one of the tables were guys, and the one that had a girl, had one girl and one guy. The number of cell phone calls caught my attention from the girl that was there. I don't really think she put her phone down for more than a couple minutes before she would call somebody or text.
